We are a seasonal business open weekends Labor Day to Christmas. From Labor Day to Thanksgiving we are at Windmist Farm in Jamestown and Thanksgiving to Christmas we are at Farmer’s Daughter Christmas Tree Farm in South Kingstown.
Our Products: "Sweet" Apple Cider (Nonalcoholic) We use one ingredient for our cider: APPLES! Absolutely no added sugar or sweeteners - it is naturally sweet! We press our cider fresh every week right in Jamestown at our little food trailer. We treat our cider using UV light treatment instead of pasteurization. It still kills any potential bacteria but doesn’t kill the taste (or yeast, allowing for fermentation to still occur if left at room temperature or if left opened in your refrigerator for too long). All of our apples are locally sourced and we use a variety of apples for a unique taste that changes with the season. As the season progresses through the fall the taste will go from tart and sharp to buttery and sweet. This is due to the different varieties of apples and their increasing sugar content as the season develops. Be sure to check out the board when you visit for this week's variety. This is sold by the cup or you can buy a half gallon to take home but our half gallons often sell out so come early in the weekend! Sold Labor Day-Thanksgiving only. Hot Mulled Cider (Nonalcoholic) Our hot apple cider is simply our sweet apple cider heated with some mulling spices including cinnamon, orange peel and cloves. Be sure to ask if you have any allergies to spices. Sold by the cup all season long. Cider Slushie (Nonalcoholic) Our cider slushie is simply that - our sweet cider frozen into a slushie texture. This is the perfect refreshing treat for those warmer fall days. Sold by the cup Labor Day to Thanksgiving. Cider Doughnuts We use high quality ingredients including, you guessed it - our own apple cider. We also freshly core, peel, and finely chop apples to include in our cake-like doughnuts and then coat each one in cinnamon sugar. We have received some extraordinary reviews - make sure you try them! Sold in all quantities - by the dozen, half dozen, or single doughnuts all season long. Also accommodating large pre-orders for pickup Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. Please email ahead for orders of 3 dozen or more. Pickup only, no delivery. Please note that when we are at The Farmer’s Daughter our menu is adjusted and limited. We offer cups of hot mulled cider, homemade hot chocolate and, of course, freshly made warm cider doughnuts.
