No. We may be on wheels but our rig is heavy and contains all of our equipment for pressing cider and making doughnuts. It takes a lot of time to get everything ready to move which is why we only move between our two locations. Plus, we want our customers to know where to find us.
Do you make doughnuts for parties/ events?
We do! We make large orders for pickup. We do not deliver. We typically make them the night before your big event. Available Fridays-Sundays during our open season. That will be fresh and ready for pickup after 8am the next day. Send us an email with your name and the pickup date in the subject line.
How do I avoid waiting in line?
Fridays! Fridays are much slower than Saturdays and Sundays. Usually we have a "rush" at open (10) but after 11am you are generally able to walk right up or have a short wait. We are also typically a little slower in early September and between Halloween and Thanksgiving is a great time to come. October sunny days are usually busy but we suggest coming with a group and taking turns walking around/ standing in line.
Can I preorder to avoid waiting in line?
Unfortunately, we don't really have any great spot for storage space for a lot of preorders. Our trailer is pretty crammed with equipment for pressing on one side and making doughnuts on the other. We DO take preorders for orders of 3 dozen or more but you must let us know at least 24 hrs in advance. We can put these large orders in bakery boxes and stack them in the limited space we do have. That way our regular line doesn't get backed up with very large orders. Please email us with your name and the pickup date in the subject line.
Are dogs allowed?
We are NOT the owners of the property at either of our locations so ultimately, it is up to them. However, leashed, friendly, well-trained, picked up after dogs (but I'm really looking at their humans) are currently allowed at both locations.
I want to buy a half gallon instead of a bunch of cups. Will you give me some empty cups for it?
No, we sell cups of cider to enjoy on site. These come with a lid (and a straw) to help keep the yellow jackets out and are priced to account for the cost of these items in addition to the tax we need to collect on cups of cider. Half gallons are meant to be a to go item. You are more than welcome to bring your own cups, but we will not be handing any out for half gallon purchases. And no, we do not sell empty cups either.
Do you sell out?
The only thing we typically sell out of is half gallons. We estimate how many to make each week and try to get the majority of them sold so we can sell you fresh ones next week. If you are hoping to purchase half gallons I suggest you do not wait until Sunday afternoon to visit. We make doughnuts constantly throughout the day and we try our best to keep all of our cups of cider options available.
Do you sell hard cider?
Not yet. That is the long term goal, but this won't be until we move to our farm in West Greenwich. RI won't let us make it out of a mobile establishment. PS we will likely have a name change when that occurs due to some companies that have similar names.
